Tre Designs had an incredible time collaborating with this wonderful family! For this project, the home underwent a 1,500-square-foot addition, creating a spacious and functional environment. The expanded layout now includes a large kitchen for hosting, a new dining room, living room, and a luxurious primary suite. To make the space both stylish and practical for a family of five with young children, we incorporated warm, neutral tones throughout the design. The result is a cozy yet elegant space that perfectly balances beauty and functionality.
Our clients for this project were a real treat! The husband was the contractor for the entire project so he made it a bit easier during construction to be off site since we handled this project entirely remotely. We started with this client by advising on the layout of their home that their architect provided for their expansion. We played around with the floor plan and revised some areas to enhance the flow throughout the home and connectivity between rooms. Once the walls went up we were able to start the space planning phase and worked on furniture selections to have in time for their project move in date.
We scheduled regular video calls for checkins and to even finalize finish selections. We went with new oak wood flooring throughout most of the addition, stone in the mudroom, and the perfect shade of white paint for a fresh new look.
For the kitchen we took our time to find the perfect stone countertop and we are delighted with the final result! After our client visited a few stone yards we selected the slabs and helped layout the stone to get that gorgeous veining over the stove backsplash.

Their primary bathroom has so much beautiful natural light and a grand window that looks out onto a private balcony. There was no better place for this freestanding tub than in front of this gorgeous view!
