We are thrilled to share the complete transformation of The Heights Bath primary bathroom. Our client desired a fresh and updated look for her space, and after our initial consultation and home walk-through, we discovered her love for vibrant colors. This insight fueled our excitement to start the design process. As with all our projects, we began by sending a detailed questionnaire to understand her specific desires and preferences. Her primary requests were clear: maintain the existing layout and avoid using travertine.
As part of our design questionnaire, we ask clients to share photos of bathrooms they admire. This helps us gauge their aesthetic preferences without copying any designs, allowing us to tailor a unique style for each client. After reviewing her questionnaire and photos, we noticed her preference for a floating cabinet and a warmer neutral palette with a pop of color. To accommodate her requests and offer flexibility, we created two design boards: one fully embracing the color pop and another with a more subtle approach, ensuring she felt confident in her choices.
At our design meeting, we presented samples for both designs, and we were delighted when our client immediately chose option two with a pop of color. Following her selection, we created a rendered elevation to illustrate our vision for incorporating the vibrant tiles exclusively in the shower area. Additionally, we designed a clever ledge for conveniently placing her shower accessories, enhancing both the functionality and design of the space.
Once the bathroom design was finalized and approved, we introduced our client to an exceptional contractor we were eager to collaborate with for this project. We scheduled an on-site meeting with Rick and Sal from ALE Renovations to discuss the estimate and assess whether they could meet our timeline. Shortly after our meeting, it became clear that they were not only capable but enthusiastic about completing the project in time to have our client back in her bathroom before Thanksgiving. Rick and Sal proved to be an excellent fit, showing great responsiveness and dedication throughout the entire process.
As the designers and project managers for this project, we frequently visited the site to oversee the construction progress. During these visits, we collaborated closely with the tile installer to perfect the tile layout, ensuring it was precisely aligned with the shower ledge for a flawless finish.
This project turned out great. While we kept the original layout intact, we infused the space with bold contemporary and functionality. We installed a sleek, floating double sink vanity that adds a touch of sophistication and creates an illusion of more space. The shower now boasts vibrant and playful square tiles that bring a unique and modern aesthetic to the space. To complement the new design, we chose all new chrome plumbing fixtures that provide a clean and polished look.
